Friday's Letters

Dear time, you pass so incredibly fast. A year ago, my life revolved around living on my own for the first time, making my way through another term of school, and posing for a denim-on-denim photo shoot with my roommates. Dear new year, you revolve around new things. Better things. More scary/adult things. Dear future years, I am beginning to feel so excited for you! So many new places that God could lead me. Dear cupcake happy hour, thank you for the six delicious cupcakes that you provided me with. I've never eaten so many cupcakes in a such a short amount of time. Dear smoke alarm, you wake me up every morning with your annoying chirping. I realize you need new batteries. Dear mom and dad, I love you and miss hanging out with you. Dear weekend, I need you to be both incredibly productive and restful.

And so here we are. The last day of the working week. And then two entire days off.
