Four little words

You know that longing to go out and explore beyond the bounds of what you've already experienced?
To see new things and live in new ways.

I have that.
Bad.

The thought of looking for a real job and doing the same thing every day for the rest of my life freaks me out. Because why would I do that when I could explore this world that God created and meet all the wonderful people in it?

Which is why I just purchased a one-way ticket to Sydney, Australia

Here's my plan...

All that stands between me and the greatest adventure of my life so far is three months of school.

I can't wait.

I can't wait to see what life is like somewhere else. I can't wait to remove myself from my familiar life and try something new. I can't wait to be surrounded by beaches and learn the Aussie lingo. I can't wait meet new people and understand another piece of creation. And I can't wait for you to be a part of the many adventures that await me.

So, let the adventure begin.

Much Love,

Holy cow, what an amazing risk! I love that you just DID it--so many times I think of how amazing things like that would be, but I never actually DO it. I'm planning on booking a trip to Europe soon and I think it might even be more worth it to go alone. I can't wait to follow along with your time down under!

That's amazing. One of my best friends moved there 7 years ago... she hasn't come back!! She loves it there... and now she has an Australian-Minnesotan accent and it's hilarious. Good luck on your journey, so glad I found your blog :)

Ah!! So exciting! I'm doing the same thing...and I'm oh so nervous. I won't be taking the 18 hour flight to Australia, but I am going to fly from my California home to New York City or Nashville in January. It's nervewracking, and yet oh so exciting to see what the Lord has planned :)
